Keenlake WaxLab

Frequently Asked Questions

What temperature should I use for melting wax?

Most blends perform well between 72–78°C. Start at 74°C and adjust by 1–2°C to balance flow and edge definition.

How much wax do I pour per seal?

For a 25–30 mm stamp, 0.8–1.1 g is typical. Too much wax causes overflow; too little yields thin edges.

How do I prevent the stamp from sticking?

Pre-warm the stamp head briefly and allow a 2–3 second dwell before a vertical lift. A silicone mat helps clean release.

Which paper works best with wax seals?

Sized papers with low absorbency reduce feathering. For envelopes, reinforce the flap to prevent cracking during transit.

How do I clean a brass stamp head?

Let it cool to warm (not hot), then wipe residue with a lint-free cloth. Avoid abrasives that scratch details.

Do you offer digital modules or only physical products?

We offer both: research-led courses and calibrated tools. Many bundles include a module plus matching kit.

What is your return policy?

Unused physical items can be returned within 30 days. Digital modules include a preview; refund requests are reviewed case-by-case.

Can you help equip a team for an event?

Yes. We audit your setup, recommend tools, and train your team to produce consistent seals at scale.
